Angelsey, Wales
Anglesey is a small island in Wales just off the Northwest Coast, and only about an hour and a half drive away from the northern parts of England. It's known for its breathtaking views, beaches, and ancient sites. When I visited, we took a boat trip out to see Puffin Island! Although we did not see many puffins, as their species is declining, we got to see some beautiful views. This boat trip left from Beaumaris, a small town in Anglesey, filled with lots of cute shops, bakeries, and of course, pubs.

After exploring the town of Beaumaris, we took about a 30-minute drive to Holyhead South Stack to go on a beautiful but short hike. We took a short walk to see the South Stack lighthouse and a great view of the cliffs. My Aunts had told me just years before they had visited and seen the cliffs full of Puffins. We asked a volunteer staff member, part of the wildlife trust, who told us about the cliffs having breakages and causing there to be very few grassy spots, where the Puffins like to nest and hang out.

Anglesey is a place for any nature lovers and outdoor lovers to visit, and I personally can't wait to go back and see more of the Island.
